01/27/2025 - EcoClam Monthly Online Meeting

On January 27th, EcoClam hosted its first monthly meeting of the new year, centered around the planning and development of our upcoming EcoClam Magazine. As a club dedicated to environmental advocacy, education, and action, this meeting focused on brainstorming publication of our magazine that reflects our values.

We began by dividing responsibilities among the writing department. Each section of the magazine, from environmental overviews to proposed solutions and interviews. While the design department has not yet begun visual layout work, they brainstorm the designs and plans to collaborate with the writing team in the upcoming weeks as content becomes finalized.

To further our mission of promoting sustainability and climate action, all members were asked to develop detailed proposals for an original environmental activity or campaign to be featured in the magazine. These ideas are intended not only to raise awareness but to inspire real change within and beyond our school community.

Each proposal should include:
- A clear title and format (such as a campaign, volunteer project, or school booth)
- A specific environmental goal or message
- A detailed location and timeline
- Required materials, budget estimates, and preparation plans
- A promotion strategy to reach students and the broader community

Before our next meeting, members are encouraged to think both critically and creatively about their ideas and proposals. These student-led initiatives reflect EcoClam’s belief that real change begins with awareness—and grows through action. Whether it’s a small step or a larger project, every effort counts. By working together, sharing ideas, and staying committed to sustainability, we continue to reduce our environmental impact and inspire others to do the same.
